About AB43

Spread the love

AB 43 was a law that was passed by the California legislature in 2007 that would have allowed same-sex couples to get married right here in California.

Governor Schwarzenegger said that he would veto it if it got to his desk, so as a dutiful father, patriot and Christian, I wrote to him to ask him not to.

He vetoed it anyway, but over the past three years, the Governor has gradually distanced himself from his party’s  policy of bullying and alienating gay people.

I continue to write to the Governor and other prominent figures, and post my letters here, so that we don’t forget how many people were hurt by the Governor’s veto, and maybe other leaders can learn from his mistakes.
